A few people have convinced me to take a different route than I was going to as I journey out to the Rocky Mountain Frenzy...Gosh, I really wanted to take the scenic route of sagebrush and cowpies through Wyoming! Haha. So, I-80 is out, I-70 is in... Yeah, it will take a little bit longer to get there, but if I leave early in the morning...errr...in the middle of the night, I should be able to enjoy a few hours in the Basalt area. And there is nothing more beautiful than the Snowmass/Aspen area nearby...
And if catching fish is like in these videos...I just might stay the night...who knows! Enjoy the two vids of the Frying Pan River...It comes highly recommended by the Midgeman and the Colorado Angler.
I got your toes tappin' there, didn't I? Ha....Do I really have to go to work for another week and a half??? Really???
Ok...I'm ready. The question is... Is Colorado ready for the River Damsel?!! : )
Colorado better get ready for some serious rainfall in about a week and a half. :)ReplyDelete
Mark ~ Haha...very funny. There is just no way that a storm like GA/NC had...would repeat itself. No way. At least not the tornadoes!ReplyDelete
Ol' Howard has been staying up late worrying about rather or not he is ready for the River Damsel, let alone, Colorado. Fish On!ReplyDelete
RD... Wishing you a great time... lots of fish and friends!ReplyDelete
Sorry I couldnt make it. Have fun!
Take some pics and land some trout for me; because that is the closet my wife and I will get to that area for a while. Do you detect a little jealously here???
Mel ~ Howard doesn't have a clue on what to expect!! He's never seen such stealth on a river...hahaReplyDelete
Bigerr! ~ Yes, I heard that it wasn't going to be the year for you to join us...very disappointed. Let's hook up maybe at the OBN shindig next summer...
Bill ~ Ahhh...we will try to do our best for ya Bill!! It's in the plan book anyway... : )
