I caught my rainbow here, two browns and a 5 lb whitefish in the same hole, which we affectionately named as "The Crime Scene Hole"... since we went back to it more than once.
But the trip so far, has been full of brown trout...
Well, I am off for Day 3... Hope all of you are enjoying your weekend!
Tight lines and many fishy hookups as Spring is here (or is it?)!
Looks like you're into some nice water!!!!ReplyDelete
The best you can find. = )Delete
You know I am very jealous of you, keep landing those browns for me out there. thanks for sharing
Wait til you see what I find on Day 4... upcoming!Delete
Even though we've passed March 20th, I'm not sure about spring when the morning temp is 32. Have a good time.ReplyDelete
We had 40 degrees as a high on Day 4... getting better! But, the wind chill was probably 30. Oh well.Delete
Emily, I applaud you for your zest for fly fishing. It is snowing to bejeebers in Norhtern Colorado this weekend. Good to see you making company with some Montana Browns'. Leave the Rainbows for me! Tee Hee.ReplyDelete
BTW, 5 pounds of Rocky Mountain Bonefish is tough to beat anywhere.
I caught some nice rainbows too... sorry to say. All is fair!!! I will remember who "owns" them in the blogwaves though!Delete
I'm here to correct Larry's mistake. He meant to say ice water.ReplyDelete
The water isn't has cold as you would think. Until you fall into it. HA.Delete
